Jon Stewart Returns to Host ‘The Daily Show’
Jon Stewart, the famous comedian who hosted the Comedy Central show for 16 years, is set to return as a host, and will also act as an executive producer on the show, leaving several of The Daily Show fans delighted.

Ever since Trevor Noah left The Daily Show, numerous comedians, actors and actresses have attempted to fill in his role, with Comedy Central keeping each celebrity for a few weeks before moving onto the next one. Even though, they intended to make a decision on who was to be the new host, a year later, such a decision has still not been made.
Being the 2nd host of the show who held the reins from 1999 to 2015, Stewart was largely responsible for the late night show’s immense success. Stewart is set to return as host of the show on Mondays throughout the 2024 presidential electronic cycles, the network said in a surprise announcement on Wednesday. Mr. Stewart’s first show will be on February 12th.

Stewart, is the host most associated with The Daily Show, and is an identifying factor for the hugely successful late night show even 8 to 9 years after he left.
Comedy Central has been under intense scrutiny over the past year as it tested out a wide range of potential hosts, including Leslie Jones, Kal Penn, Hasan Minhaj and Sarah Silverman after the abrupt departure of Trevor Noah at the end of 2022. Ratings have dropped severely, and the network is struggling to keep the show afloat. Bringing back a familiar face that viewers love may just be the solution that they need.
