Elon Musk’s AI company, xAI, is set to launch its first AI model this Saturday. 4/11/2023 To a select group of people, it’s expected to be one of the best AI models.
Elon Musk co-founded OpenAi in 2015 and left the company in 2018 for unknown reasons. Still, at the start of this year, he announced xAI, a non-profit AI research company with the sole purpose of making AI modules that can help humanity. Now, five months after the launch of xAI, the company is ready to launch its first AI model to a select group of people.
Tomorrow, @xAI will release its first AI to a select group.
In some important respects, it is the best that currently exists.

Elon Musk tweets on his X account announcing that xAI will launch its first AI this Saturday.
“In some important respects, it is the best that currently exists,” Musk said.
The billionaire was critical of other AI tech giants for censoring their AI models, calling them woke. He said that he would launch a maximum truth-seeking AI that tries to understand the nature of the universe and would be a direct rival to AI models like Bard from Google and Chat-GPT from OpenAI.
To do so, he hired some of the most brilliant minds in the field of AI; the majority were from companies like Google’s DeepMind, the Windows parent, and other top AI research firms.
This new AI model is expected to be heavily trained on the data gathered by Musk’s other companies, Tesla and X (formerly Twitter) and a close friend of Musk, Larry Ellison, co-founder of Oracle, also revealed that xAI had signed a contract to train its AI model on Oracle’s cloud.
As of not much has been revealed, but hopefully new details will come out by the start of 2024, and the model might be publically available by the end of next year
