The nominations for the latest edition of cinema’s biggest night, The Oscars, have been announced. Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer led the way with 13 Oscar nominations, followed by Poor Things with 11, and Killers of the Flower Moon with 10.

The Oscars are what every great actor, director, and producer strives for. It acts as a rewarding end to the calendar year for the extremely exceptional films of the year and is received only by the very best.

The 2024 Oscars are the first in which films must meet two of four representation and inclusion standards to be eligible for the top prize of Best Picture.

Some high-profile snubs for this year’s Academy Awards include former Best Actor winner, Leonardo DiCaprio and the record-breaking Barbie director, Greta Gerwig.

The 96th Academy Awards will air live coast-to-coast on ABC on Sunday, March 10, from the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood, with Jimmy Kimmel set to host for a 4th time.
