Adam Harrison, the 39-year-old son of Pawn Stars creator Rick Harrison, passed away from an overdose, as confirmed by his representative, Laura Herlovich. The news has sent ripples across the millions of watchers ‘Pawn Stars’ has across the globe.
Currently, the time and place of death are unknown, prompting Las Vegas Metro PD to investigate the matter. According to TMZ, who broke the news, Adam died from an overdose. His family requested time and privacy in this heartbreaking time, “Our family is extremely saddened by the death of Adam. We ask for privacy as we grieve his loss,” Herlovich shared with the Las Vegas Review-Journal on behalf of the Harrison family.
Rick Harrison posted a picture of him and his son on Instagram, captioning it, “You will always be in my heart! I love you Adam. 💔” Under the post thousands of fans and several celebrities, including Donald Trump Jr. paid their respects.
Adam Harrison was not a member of the popular ‘Pawn Stars’ show, which premiered in 2009 and stars Rick’s oldest son, Corey Harrison. Corey also pays homage to his younger brother, sharing a picture of them bathing as kids on Instagram, captioned “Wax wtf I will always love you bubba”.
There is not a lot known about Adam as he has never appeared in his father’s world-famous show. However, it has been reported that he helped out with the show once upon a time. It has further been reported by TMZ that he may have worked as a plumber, but so far nothing has been confirmed.
Adam Harrison, born in 1984, was the second son of Rick Harrison and his first wife, Kim.
