Best Open World Games Of 2023:
1. Starfield:
- Released on 6 September 2023 on Xbox Series X and Series S consoles, first on the list is “Starfield.” If you have played a Bethesda game before, then you know what to expect.
- It is an action role-playing game in which the player character joins a group of space explorers who must venture to various corners of the Milky Way galaxy containing both fictional and non-fictional planetary systems to acquire mysterious artifacts.
- The game is beautiful and does a pretty good job of exploring the space and populating it with characters that have interesting junk to say some of them don’t, but a lot of them do.
- The game has a lot of charm and a lot of stuff to see that’s just really fun and interesting. Starfield is an astonishing game that takes you on a wonderful journey of the cosmos. A good soundtrack that sets the perfect intergalactic mood and an absorbing narration experience that rivals the grandest of space operas; Starfield is a cosmic mastery. The game will certainly keep you entertained for a few hundred hours if you wish to complete it.
2. Atomic Heart
- “Atomic Heart” is a 2023 first-person shooter game developed by Russian game developer Mundfish. The game was released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on February 21, 2023. The game is set in an alternate history version of the Soviet Union (USSR).
- Initially depicted as a retro-futuristic utopia, the game follows the quick collapse of the Soviet Union into a cacotopia after a robot uprising begins. The game feels like such a rip-off of Bioshock – specifically Infinite.
- This is one of those games that gives you a pretty nice big area, including a lot of interior and exteriors full of bizarre, weird, sometimes beautiful stuff, whether it be architecture or enemies or even, in some cases vistas.
- The storyline, despite being slow in some places, is pretty well-made and entertaining. The atmosphere of the game is immersive, alive, and detailed. A beautiful city with artistic features and insanely advanced graphics looks great here.
- It’s also got really, really fast-paced, satisfying combat. I enjoyed the game as it tells a weird story in a really weird way in a great open world.
3. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora:
- “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora” is a 2023 open-world action-adventure game based on the Avatar film series, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. The game was released for PlayStation 5, Windows, and BBox Series X/S on December 7, 2023.
- If you want to explore the wonders and dangers of the Western Frontier, a never-before-seen continent of Pandora, then it is your game. The graphics of the game are breathtaking, music and sound design are all just the elements that just make you so immersed that you don’t even realize that hours have gone by. I can guarantee you that you do not need to love Avatar in order to enjoy this game.
- This is a stunning beautiful game that actually does a decent job of telling some interesting stories within the confines of the narrative that has been created for this series. This game is an avatar fan’s dream come true! And it’s by far the best Ubisoft game that has been released.
4. The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom:
- “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” is an action-adventure game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch in 2023. The sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (2017), Tears of the Kingdom retains aspects including the open world of Hyrule, which has been expanded to allow for more vertical exploration.
- A fantastic Zelda game with a strong storyline and returning characters that have returned from Breath of the Wild; some characters have developed a lot, and some are the same. Tear of the Kingdom is a true masterpiece of art and design.
- The visuals are absolutely stunning and give a player a euphoric and nostalgic feeling, the acoustic landscapes are beyond belief, and every little detail is well executed with near perfection and care. One may find himself or herself continually getting lost in the vast and beautiful world, exploring every nook and crevice and marveling at the breathtaking scenery. An excellent work to play with.
5. Assassin’s Creed: Mirage:
- “Assassin’s Creed Mirage” is a 2023 action-adventure game developed and published by Ubisoft Bordeaux. The game is the thirteenth major installment in the Assassin’s Creed series and the successor to 2020’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
- An epic and a masterpiece for all Assassin’s Creed lovers. It is one of the best games I have ever played (and am still playing!). Definitely on my top-five list. A full and immersive role-playing game with so many things to do, a huge skill tree, fun combat, and finishing cinematics.
- This game is the strongest of the entire franchise. The Baghdad that they made for this game is fantastic and unique. The graphics are very smooth; fighting directly with the enemy has become more challenging and difficult, so the player prefers not to get involved and do the mission in complete secrecy. Overall, it was an excellent experience.
